When I played baseball, I used to always be a catcher. For 11 years, I would always find the chest protector, the leg pads, and the mask on. I loved being a catcher. Mainly because the catcher is always moving on every pitch. My favorite drill was throwing down runners at the bases. I would sometimes have a pitcher on the mound, sometimes have someone hand the balls to me or just have a bucket of baseballs next to me, but I always had to have a fielder at a base. No matter if it was practicing a pick off from the plate, or simply trying to catch someone stealing, I would always throw perfectly, because I would always practice just throwing down to the bases from the plate.
