BASEBALL HITTING: OBSERVE EVERYTHING!

An MLB player was 2 for 2 with 2 doubles. The rest of his team was struggling with NO hits through 6 innings. He was asked by his teammates what he knew that the rest of them did not know. He said that every time the catcher sets up inside, the catcher’s equipment is making a certain sound. (He then knew when the heater was coming!) Something to be learned here? Yeh, great hitters are great hitters for a reason and one reason is they are ALWAYS looking to gain an advantage. They are usually observing EVERYTHING!!!
