Baseball catching leadership is one of the skills that most people don’t focus on during youth baseball practice. As a youth baseball coach, one of the most important things you can help teach your catchers is how to be a leader on the field. The catcher is the only player that faces the rest of the defensive players. The baseball catcher needs to direct the team by knowing what to do in situations and being vocal about it. It is vital to your baseball team’s success.
