Bench Coach


Check starting Pitcher/Catcher

Give starting pitcher and catcher time to warmup – depends on home or away

Warm up infielders

During Game

Defense In – Check next inning and grab ball

Announce first three hitters

Help track defensive plays

Primary Assistant


Run pregame hitting or fielding

During Game

Coach first or third

Call out number of outs and defensive alignment

Prepare Lineup

Meet With Umpire and Opposing Coach
