WHAT SHOULD AN OPPOSING COACH DO WHEN BATTER HAS AN ILLEGAL BAT?

If a player has an illegal bat, the opposing Coach has the option of an out or the result of the play. Smart coaches will wait until the AB is over. The batter might hit into a DP, right? Another good option for a coach is to possibly wait until later on in the game to challenge the bat when it’s a critical part of the game.
