The hit and run drill is where the coach says a certain base (which the player would run to) and the athlete would run and or slide into that base. For example the coach says ” 2nd base,GO!” That means the player would run and slide or not slide into that base. It’s a great workout and the coaches can point out what the player did wrong to that they can correct them.
